Here's a sound bite of me setting off a morning glory firework (essentially a sparkler, for the unaware). It almost sounds like a fuse going off if you ask me. Could be good for a fuse sound for a project. Recorded with a zoom h4n.
Like a stroll in winter, i wanted to transcribe a festive reality with the resumption of a christmas song with the tones and the imitation of fireworks.
From july 4th, 2019 by the house. Recorded with my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony vegas. Tracks were duplicated and the last bang was slowed down. Listen how the sound echoes around the hills. I can't remember what mark the fireworks occurred. Bring the file into an audio program and you'll notice the peak immediately. Raw audio, no filter applied. Use freely, credit name. 2021.
This sound is made with csound. I used 5 instruments on it:. - white noise that change from l channel to r channel- 2 sinewaves that make a glissando- another sinewave that does a crescendo- a wav file that is reproduced.
